At age 12, Barry was first inspired to create films by Steven Spielberg on the set of E.T. where he worked and studied closely alongside Spielberg for the duration of the production. As the film wrapped, Barry was challenged to pursue his new found passion by the famed director.
Following that inspiration in to adulthood, Barry attended U.S.C. film school and then co-founded Waterland Entertainment Group, creating and producing Adventures Television with host Dan Aykroyd, which went on to be featured on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno".
Barry would build the company into the largest studio in Orange County, complete with sound stage, editing and animation departments.
In 2000 Barry wrote and directed 'The Catch' which went on to be distributed internationally by Hypnotic Films, a division of Universal.
Barry has also produced and directed the award winning documentary 'Road Rage' by Discovery Networks and has directed scores of commercials. He has written three feature-length screenplays, which are currently in development.
In 2006 Barry and his wife Felicia created Ptolemaic Productions for the expression of their own projects.

Felicia received her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from the University of Southern California, School of Cinema-Television. After graduating, she gained invaluable experience by managing business operations of two production companies.
Felicia transitioned to producing with stints at Waterland Entertainment Group, E! Entertainment Television, and several independent film projects.
After producing two magazine-style half-hour pilots and an award-winning documentary on road rage, Felicia joined the production team of the highly successful NBC reality show, “Fear Factor.” Within the first year, she became an associate producer on the show and stayed with the team for three seasons. Felicia was also an associate producer on the pilot episodes of the hit NBC game show, “Deal or No Deal.”
Since 2006, Felicia has been working on building Ptolemaic Productions, the banner under which she and her husband are currently producing and developing several projects for film and television.
